Katie Power (she/her) is a graduate student at Ohio University pursuing her Master’s of Social Work. She also holds a B.A. in Community and Behavioral Health with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Katie is interested in engaging in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Play Therapy but is excited to build relationships with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

Katie’s approach to therapy is informed by her background in social work and extensive work with children, emphasizing attachment style development, addressing social and environmental factors that affect mental health, and person-centered practice. She believes in creating a judgment-free space for clients to feel comfortable and empowered to take an active role in their sessions. Katie is proud to work with members of the LGBTQIA+, poly, and kink communities.

Outside of school and her work as a nanny to two young children, Katie enjoys cooking, spending time with her cats, rowing, and reading!
