Liz Stofko holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, which sparked her deep passion for understanding how childhood and human development shape our beliefs, habits, and life experiences.

As a certified Complex Trauma Professional, NARM® Practitioner (NeuroAffective Relational Model), Breathwork Facilitator, and Certified Mind-Body Eating Professional, Liz is dedicated to destigmatizing mental health. She empowers individuals to better understand themselves, their bodies, their brains, and their habits—helping them cultivate lives filled with self-acceptance and compassion and free from overwhelm and shame.

Her main areas of interest include nutritional psychology (understanding how our brain and mindsets influence our habits, actions, and choices regarding health, wellness, and our relationship with food and our body), relational trauma, complex trauma, coping with chronic illnesses/health struggles, and nervous system regulation.

Liz's counseling approach is rooted in the belief that facing the parts of ourselves we fear, avoid, or feel shame toward is a challenging but rewarding journey. She adopts a non-pathologizing approach to mental health and personal growth, viewing individuals through a lens of compassion and acceptance. She also acknowledges the profound influence of our environment on our development and believes in the inherent worth and capacity for positive change in every individual.

"Whether we realize it or not, it is our woundedness, or how we cope with it, that dictates much of our behavior, shapes our social habits, and informs our ways of thinking about the world."
