She also works with another organization focusing on young children on the autism spectrum working in school and at home, with previous experience working at a weekend camp for adults with mental and physical disabilities.
Mary focuses on providing an empathetic and open person-centered approach with clients, exploring how current feelings and behaviors are influenced by past experiences and distorted/negative belief systems. She finds importance in making sure her clients are aware of their strengths and work together to reach ever-expanding goals.
Mary's approach is not just about the sessions but about integrating therapy into daily life. She uses in-session discussions to teach skills and specific items to work on at home, ensuring that her clients are engaged and active in their therapy. Mary's foremost goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals seeking self-improvement. She is a proud ally of LGBTQ+ and Poly/ENM/Kink communities, ensuring that everyone feels respected and secure in her practice.
