My passion for this work began early—my family decided to became a foster family when I was growing up, and witnessing the strength and struggles of children in care deeply shaped my commitment to the counseling field. Also, I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for far too long so I found a way that lets me use my people skills, patience, and how to stay grounded under a ton of pressure, tools that I have perfected into something I find very important.
